Chandigarh has loads of theaters. In sector 1, the rock garden has three open theaters. The monument of Open Hand begins with an amphitheater that is really great for performances for artist. The government museum in culture complex owns an auditorium. The open air auditorium of the Punjab Kala Bhawan in the Rose Garden is very famous for music, dance and performances like dances. The Tagore Theatre of Performing Arts in Sector 18 has wonderful acoustics and excellent designed interiors. The large PGI auditorium is meant for theatrical performances. Bal Bhawan has a wonderful big open theater and also enclosed auditorium.
