Tanzania is one of the beautiful located in the East of Africa, continent, it鈥檚 people and wilderness together of being surrounded by big lakes such as lake Victoria, lake Tanganyika, lake Nyasa and the eastern part the Indian ocean together with the tallest mountain in Africa, The Kilimanjaro and the famous National park such as Serengeti park and others, makes this country to be a good destination for travelers to visit and see the beauty, wild landscape and experience different culture of its people, thus you can spend most of days by visiting and experiencing while enjoying your holiday. Here under is sample of a Safari itinerary;

Upon arrival is advised to spend a night in Arusha as most of flight landing in Kilimanjaro international airport, once you landing and clear all customs requiring you will meet safari guide who will welcome you and drive you to the hotel in Arusha town which is about 45 minutes drive, you will be check in at Kahawa house hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Tarangire national park

  Early breakfast, after breakfast you will be drive to Tarangire national park, will take two hour drive from Arusha town. As the park famous for big groups of Elephant, you will starts seeing them the moment you get into the park with other animals while you heading to the lodge for lunch then late afternoon you will carry on with game drive till evening drive back at the lodge, dinner and overnight at Tarangire safari lodge.

• Day 2 : Tarangire national park

  Early in the morning game drive, you may have coffee or tea with snacks, then heading out for game drive, this may help you to see animals when sun rises by driving around water holes or in the plain of the park for few hours then drive back to the lodge for breakfast, after meals you will carry on with game drive while departing to mto wa mbu for walking and local lunch, then later drive to Migombani tented camp for dinner and overnight.

• Day 3 : Lake Natron

  After breakfast depart to Lake Natron, its normally takes three hours driving through Maasai land to the base of Oldonyo Lengai, (mountain of God to maasai language) for lunch, thereafter doing activities such as hiking to the waterfall, walking to the lake natron and seeing Flamingo鈥檚 nests as well as visiting the early human footprints. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Tented camp.

• Day 4 : Serengeti

  Departs to Serengeti park through Loliondo to north of the park, because is still maasai land, you will still be able to them but also you will see different soil structure, and rocks formation from volcanoes which erupted million years ago, however the road is just along the Tanzania and Kenyan boarder you will see the Kenyan side enroute, dinner and overnight at mara katikati camp.

• Day 5 : Serengeti

  After breakfast you start game drive along the mara river where you will see the great migration crossing the river to Kenyan side, also other animal like hippos, lions, huge crocodiles, groups of elephants etc, dinner and overnight at mara katikati camp.

• Day 6 : Serengeti

  Another day in the north of Serengeti when you still have time to explore more of what the park offers while enjoying the great migration, as you carry on with the game drive, things such as huge rocks where creature as rock hyrax and leopard can be seen, also you will experience some of tree鈥檚 roots penetrating between the rocks for water, dinner and overnight at mara katikati camp.

• Day 7 : Serengeti

  After breakfast drive across the Serengeti park to the south, lake Ndutu. It will be game enroute, as you drive you carry on with the game drive where you see different landscape and more animal, also you will have enough time to explore the centre of Serengeti and stop for lunch then heading to Ndutu for late afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Ndutu safari lodge.

• Day 8 : Ngorongoro crater

  After breakfast departs for Ngorongoro crater game drive, it will take two hours from the ndutu to the crater rim when you will descent into the crater while doing game drive, it is about 600 meters deep to the crater floor where most of the animals can be seen such as herds of Elephants around lerai forest, prides of lions, some antelopes such as gazelles, wildebeest, as well as warthogs, buffaloes, jackals, hyaena and the black rhinos and many others, late afternoon you will drive to Ngorongoro Farm House for dinner and overnight

• Day 9 : Ngorongoro crater

  After early breakfast you will departs to lake Eyasi for visiting the two nomadic tribes, the Hadzabe,the hunters and gatherers, and Datoga, the black smith, as they are still living in communal life, you will experience by seeing how they work together their families, on finding their food, making their hunting weapons and also how they practice their culture in their daily life, then in the afternoon drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro farm house.

• Day 10 : Departs for Arusha

  Late breakfast then departs for Arusha, on this day you will have time for shopping, visiting shanga center where disabled people making glasses from used wine bottles and then stop for hot lunch in Arusha city, also have enough time to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
