Package Overview

This is a 2 nights 3 days budget camping safari where you鈥檒l join a random group of other travelers on a mission to explore and enjoy the Masai Mara on a minimal budget. You get to share tents with separate beds. The tents are self contained with hot water, shower, toilet, tiled floor, clean bedding and clean towels.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

  You鈥檒l be picked up from your Nairobi hotel and after briefing and payments, join the rest of the group and start your safari at 8:30 am to Masai Mara. We鈥檒l stop at Rift Valley Viewpoint then at Narok town for lunch. Later, we鈥檒l proceed to Masai Mara arriving at your camp for check-in. Later on, you鈥檒l have an evening game drive safari in Masai Mara Park. Your overnight stay will be at Rhino Camp.

• Day 2 : Masai Mara Full-Day Safari

  On this day you will wake up as early as 6:30 am, and after breakfast spend the whole day on game drives. You鈥檒l head out with your picnic lunch. The Masai Mara is famous for its lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos and buffalo that make the Big Five. However, luck is essential to spot leopard and rhino, as they鈥檙e rather shy and elusive. The park鈥檚 animal concentration and abundance are second to none. After exploring the park you will proceed on the Mara River where the great migration of the wildebeest takes place every year. Lunch will be served here and our guests are advised not to feed the monkeys which will try to snatch some of your fruits. But this is common here. You will be able to see the Hippo Pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra and Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture. After lunch, you鈥檒l explore the park more as you drive back to camp.

• Day 3 : Masai Mara Back to Nairobi

  Take breakfast and official check-out. Then drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route. Arrive early in the evening and drop off at your hotel.
