The park is so rich with these lovely pachyderms you are guaranteed to see them 鈥� not every park can make such a claim. Amboseli鈥檚 compact size means a greater density of wildlife as well. Besides its signature elephants, you鈥檒l also be exploring for the big cats here like lion and leopard, plus rhino, buffalo, cheetah, impala, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and plenty more.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi 鈥� Amboseli Park 40 Minute Flight

  Meals: Lunch & Dinner
  
  9:00 am 鈥� Your Africa Kenya Safaris driver will be by your hotel, residence, the international airport, or another place of your choosing to pick you up for the brief ride to nearby Wilson Airport.
  
  It鈥檚 time to get this air safari started as you lift off and enjoy the morning light upon Kenya鈥檚 savannahs, homesteads, and forests. The flight is about 40 minutes and you鈥檒l touch down at an airstrip near the park.
  
  There, your Africa Kenya Safaris driver/guide will be ready with your own private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep. Hop in and we鈥檒l be at the park in no time.
  
  The game viewing has already started as we take you to your safari lodge or camp.
  
  We鈥檒l freshen up, enjoy lunch and head out on an afternoon game drive to explore the wonders of this compact but active park.
  
  Get your camera ready, Amboseli provides unlimited opportunities for great safari photos.
  
  Toward late afternoon, we鈥檒l head back to your accommodation to relax, have dinner and dwell upon the day鈥檚 activities.

• Day 2 : Full-Day Amboseli Park

  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
  
  We鈥檒l be up early for our full day of game drives. Let鈥檚 head out before breakfast as this is a wonderful time to see the park and its inhabitants coming into the new day. You may see elephant families trotting to their favorite watering holes.
  
  Breakfast follows and then we鈥檒l set out for more game viewing.
  
  You set the pace. Enjoy as many game drives as you like鈥� or, take time to relax at your lodge or tented camp. The choice is always yours.
  
  We鈥檒l have lunch and then talk about which parts of the park we鈥檇 like to visit. Observation Hill is a favorite spot. The hill鈥檚 summit provides excellent views of the park and the marshlands where birds and other wildlife gather. You can also leave your 4 x 4 and stretch your legs, exploring by foot.
  
  Toward evening the characteristic clouds covering Kilimanjaro鈥檚 snow-covered peak may disperse giving you one of Africa鈥檚 most classic sights.
  
  Now it鈥檚 time to head back to our Amboseli accommodation to enjoy our final safari evening.

  Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
  
  By now, you鈥檝e gotten to know the park and there might be some areas you鈥檇 like to revisit. Just tell your guide and you鈥檙e off to catch some more wildlife sightings.
  
  We鈥檒l settle back at our lodge or tented camp for a relaxing breakfast, the beautiful ambiance of Amboseli all about us.
  
  Then, it鈥檚 time for a final game drive as we head back to the airstrip for our short flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi.
  
  At the airport, a driver will be standing by, ready to bring you back to the location of your choosing.
  
  You鈥檝e seen Amboseli and Kilimanjaro from the air and the ground, soaking up all the wildlife and striking landscapes this lovely park has to offer.
