Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Travel to Naivasha, Hell's Gate Cycling & Gorge Hike

  Morning (7:00 AM - 8:00 AM): Pick up from your Nairobi hotel.
  
  Drive to Naivasha: Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, making a stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for photos.
  
  Arrival at Hell's Gate & Bike Rental (Around 9:30 AM): Arrive at Hell's Gate National Park (Elsa Gate or Fischer's Tower Gate). Pay park entrance fees. Rent mountain bikes (available at the gate or through your tour operator).
  
  Cycling Safari (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM): Begin your exciting cycling safari! The main cycling track is about 7-9 km from the main gate to the Hell's Gate Gorge. Cycle through the unique landscapes, spotting zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, elands, impalas, and various bird species. The park's open terrain and lack of major predators (apart from very occasional leopards) make this a safe and exhilarating experience.
  
  Highlights: Cycle past Fischer's Tower, a prominent volcanic rock column, and Central Tower, another impressive rock formation.
  
  Lunch (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM): Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic site near the gorge or at your lodge in Naivasha.
  
  Afternoon (Ol Njorowa Gorge Hike & Geothermal Hot Springs - "Devil's Kitchen"):
  
  Ol Njorowa Gorge Hike (2:30 PM - 4:30 PM): After cycling, lock your bikes and hire a local guide (recommended and often mandatory for the gorge) to explore the Ol Njorowa Gorge. This dramatic, narrow canyon features towering red cliffs, carved by water, and includes sections like the "Devil's Kitchen" and "Devil's Shower" with hot springs and unique rock formations. It involves some scrambling, wading through shallow streams (seasonal), and navigating tight passages.
  
  Olkaria Geothermal Spa (Optional, 4:45 PM - 6:00 PM): After the gorge, you can head to the nearby Olkaria Geothermal Spa, the first of its kind in East Africa. Relax and soak in the naturally heated, mineral-rich pools.
  
  Evening: Transfer to your chosen hotel/lodge near Lake Naivasha for check-in, dinner, and overnight.

• Day 2 : Lake Naivasha Exploration & Wildlife Walks

  Morning (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM): Lake Naivasha Boat Safari & Crescent Island Walking Safari
  
  After breakfast, head to Lake Naivasha.
  
  Boat Safari: Embark on a boat safari on the freshwater Lake Naivasha. This is an excellent opportunity for birdwatching, including spotting African fish eagles, pelicans, cormorants, and more. You'll get close to hippos as they surface in the lake.
  
  Crescent Island Game Sanctuary: The boat will take you to Crescent Island, a privately owned conservancy. This is one of the few places in Kenya where you can enjoy a walking safari among wildlife. Walk alongside zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, gazelles, and various antelope species, with no major predators. It's a surreal and intimate wildlife experience.
  
  Lunch (12:30 PM - 1:30 PM): Enjoy lunch at your lodge or at a lakeside restaurant.
  
  Afternoon (2:30 PM - 5:00 PM): Choose Your Adventure!
  
  Option A: Mount Longonot Hike: For the adventurous, embark on a challenging but rewarding hike up Mount Longonot, an extinct volcano. The hike to the crater rim offers panoramic views of Lake Naivasha and the Rift Valley. (Allow 4-5 hours total for the hike, including transfer).
  
  Option B: Elsamere Conservation Centre: Visit Elsamere, the former home of Joy and George Adamson (of "Born Free" fame). Learn about their conservation work, enjoy a traditional afternoon tea on the lawn overlooking the lake, and watch black and white colobus monkeys.
  
  Option C: Crater Lake Game Sanctuary: A smaller, quieter, and very scenic volcanic crater lake with walking safaris, excellent birding, and a more intimate feel than Naivasha.
  
  Evening: Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

• Day 3 : Relaxation, Optional Activities & Departure

  Morning (8:00 AM - 11:00 AM): Leisure & Optional Activity
  
  Leisurely Breakfast: Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your lodge.
  
  Option A: Return to Hell's Gate for more specific activities: If you missed something on Day 1, you could return for rock climbing on Fischer's Tower (requires guide and equipment), or explore a different cycling circuit within the park.
  
  Option B: Spa/Relaxation: Enjoy the amenities of your hotel, perhaps a swim, or a spa treatment.
  
  Option C: Flower Farm Visit: The Naivasha area is known for its extensive flower farms. Some may offer guided tours (arrange in advance).
  
  Lunch (11:30 AM - 12:30 PM): Enjoy an early lunch at your lodge.
  
  Afternoon (1:00 PM): Departure to Nairobi
  
  Check out from your lodge.
  
  Begin your drive back to Nairobi.
  
  Arrival in Nairobi (Around 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM): Be dropped off at your hotel in Nairobi or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your onward flight.
