Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival, Ganga Aarti, and Ghats

  Arrival and Check-in: Arrive in Varanasi, check into your hotel, and relax.
  
  Evening Ganga Aarti: In the evening, head to the Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony. You can watch the ceremony from the ghat itself or from a boat on the river for a different perspective.
  
  Ghat Exploration: After the aarti, take a walk along some of the other famous ghats, such as Manikarnika Ghat (the main cremation ghat), to experience the unique atmosphere of the city.

• Day 2 : Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Old City

  Early Morning Kashi Vishwanath Darshan: Wake up early (around 5 a.m.) to visit the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple to avoid the crowds. This is one of the most sacred temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  
  Temple Hopping: After your visit to the main temple, explore other nearby temples such as the Annapurna Temple and Kal Bhairav Temple.
  
  Old City Walking Tour: Spend the afternoon walking through the narrow, labyrinthine lanes of the Old City. These alleys are filled with small shops, traditional eateries, and temples.
  
  Weaver's District Tour: You can also consider a tour of the weavers' district to see the intricate process of hand-weaving the famous Banarasi silk sarees.
  
  Culinary Delights: Don't miss the opportunity to try local delicacies like Kachori Sabzi, Malaiyo (in winter), and Lassi.

• Day 3 : Sarnath and Departure

  Morning Boat Ride: Start your final day with a tranquil sunrise boat ride on the Ganges. This will give you a chance to see the city come alive with morning rituals and offer prayers.
  
  Sarnath Excursion: Take a half-day trip to Sarnath, located about 13 km from Varanasi. Sarnath is a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the Dhamek Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum.
  
  Final Temple Visits: If time permits, visit other temples such as the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple and the Durga Temple, or the New Vishwanath Temple inside the Banaras Hindu University campus.
  
  Departure: Head to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
