  En route, enjoy brief photo stops at the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers. Evening Options:
  Visit the local weekend market (if available) or stroll through Norzin Lam, Thimphu’s main street.
  Enjoy local cuisine at a traditional restaurant.

  Begin the day with a spiritual and scenic hike to Bhutan’s most iconic site, Taktsang Monastery, perched on a sheer cliff.
