Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Leh 3500 meters / 11560 feet & Local Sightseeing

  Arrival in Leh, Relax for half day & post lunch visit Indian Army Hall of Fame- A war museum dedicated to the brave martyrs of Indian Army and Shanti Stupa which offers you a panoramic view of entire Leh town, Indus valley and lofty mountain of Zansker & Ladakh range (30 km). O/N stay at Leh.

• Day 2 : Indus valley tour

  Full day local sightseeing to Indus valley including Shey Palace- the former Palace of the Namgyal king of Ladakh, Thiksey monastery-an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, resembling Potala Palace of Tibet and Hemis monastery which is one of the richest and largest monastery of Ladakh andhave a huge collection of Artifacts, Paintings etc at their museum and enroute visit Druk whiteLotus school of 3 idiots fame and Sindhu Ghat. (85 km) O/N stay at Leh.

• Day 3 : Sham valley tour

  Tour of Sham Valley including Alchi monastery- renowned for wall paintings dating back to 11Th Century, Likir monastery- which have a Giant Statue of Maitriya Buddha, Magnetic Hills, Confluence of Indus- Zanskar river and Gurudwara Pather Sahib (140 km). O/N stay at Leh.

• Day 4 : Day trip to Pangong Lake. (5-6 hours one way)

  After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, which is the third highest motorable road in the world. Pangong, is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Upon arrival, visit the location of 3 Idiots also known as shooting point. Later on you can take a walk along the scenic turquoise colored Lake and enjoy its beauty and after spending sometime return to Leh. (160 km one way). O/N stay at Leh.

• Day 5 : Khardungla pass & local sightseeing

  After breakfast drive to Khardungla- world鈥檚 highest motorable road at 18830 ft above sea level, enjoy cup of soup/coffee at World鈥檚 Highest Motorable pass, enjoy the picturesque view of snowcapped mountain and enroute visit Leh palace- Palace of the erstwhile Royal King of Ladakh and Tsemo castle.(100 km). Evening Free for leisure and shopping at bustling Leh market. O/N stay at Leh.
