This 4-day safari offers a front-row seat to one of nature’s most spectacular and emotional moments — the Great Wildebeest Calving Season. Between January and March, over 500,000 wildebeest calves are born on the short grass plains of Ndutu, attracting predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. This compact yet immersive safari also includes a game drive in the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, making it ideal for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers with limited time.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Arusha

  Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, our driver will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Settle in, enjoy a welcome dinner, and rest before your wildlife adventure begins.

• Day 2 : Arusha – Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)

  After an early breakfast, drive to the Ndutu Region, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. This area is the focal point of the wildebeest calving season, offering some of the best predator action in Africa. Arrive for an afternoon game drive and settle into your tented camp for dinner and overnight.

• Day 3 : Full-Day Game Drive – Ndutu Calving Grounds

  Spend the entire day exploring Ndutu's open plains, where wildebeest are calving, and predators like lions, hyenas, and cheetahs are never far away. Your guide will position you for optimal sightings and photo opportunities. Enjoy a picnic lunch and sunset back at camp.

• Day 4 : Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

  After breakfast and a short morning game drive, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600m into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Experience a half-day game drive with the chance to see rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, and more. After a picnic lunch, return to Arusha for overnight or airport drop-off.
