This 7-day safari takes you from Nairobi through Kenya鈥檚 top national parks鈥擬asai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, Tsavo West, and Tsavo East鈥攂efore ending at the coast in Watamu. You鈥檒l experience thrilling game drives to spot the Big Five, witness the Great Migration (seasonally in Masai Mara), view flamingos and rhinos at Lake Nakuru, enjoy stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, explore volcanic landscapes and springs in Tsavo West, and track wildlife along the Galana River in Tsavo East. The journey blends wildlife, landscapes, and culture for an unforgettable Kenyan adventure.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Nairobi - Masai Mara

  Departure from your hotel or airport directly. We go to the Maasai Mara park, stop for lunch in Narok, directly at the lodge / camp in Masai Mara, depending on the time of departure from Nairobi. Arrive at the Gate, enter the park, start game drive on the way to the camp, check-in, dinner, and overnight.
  
  The reserve borders the Serengeti Park in Tanzania with which it forms a single ecosystem. The name of the reserve derives from the name of the Maasai people (who inhabit various areas in the Serengeti plain) and the Mara River. The reserve is known for the exceptional concentration of fauna and for the famous migration of wildebeest and zebras which begins in July from Serengeti to Masai Mara and then to Serengeti September / October. The most represented habitat is that of the African grassland or savannah with the typical acacias in the south-eastern area. The best-known icon of the Maasai Mara is probably the image of the lion of which there are large herds; all the Big Five are still present in the park (lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, leopard) even if the rhino population is in serious danger. Hippos are numerous in the Mara River and the Talek River. You can see them while on the porch of the camp. Cheetahs are also present, but they too are considered endangered. The wildebeest are the main inhabitants (millions of specimens). They migrate from the Serengeti to the Maasai Mara in the fall and back in the spring. There are also numerous other species of antelope, in particular Thompson鈥檚 gazelle and Grant鈥檚 gazelle, impalas and others. Large herds of zebras are found throughout the reserve. Many giraffes (both Maasai giraffes and common giraffes) also inhabit the plain.

• Day 2 : Masai Mara

  Wake up, breakfast and departure, around h. 07: 00, for another game drive, with a stop for lunch in an equipped area near the Mara river, with box lunch, or at the camp, depending on the game drives. After a short rest we leave for the safari, returning to the camp at sunset. Dinner and overnight

• Day 3 : Masai Mara - Nakuru

  After breakfast we will leave the Maasai Mara to reach Lake Nakuru for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Afternoon photo safari at Lake Nakuru, dinner, and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is just 3 Km from the city of Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is an alkaline and shallow lake and the park includes swampy areas, forest, and low rocky reliefs where you can admire, in addition to millions of bird species, even animals that are difficult to see such as rhinos: you can see both rhinos whites that, although rare, the shy black rhinos! Arriving, you can see thousands of pink dots on the water from above: they are flamingos! From time to time, suddenly rising in small groups in flight, they cover the sky like a pink sheet鈥� During the dry season the lake withdraws leaving a white and shiny crust of bicarbonate on the shores, creating a magical landscape with an almost surreal touch!! If we are really lucky we will be able to see a rare lion climbing trees. Warthogs are numerous throughout the park, as well as waterbucks, zebras and buffaloes, while Thompson鈥檚 gazelles prefer the thick of the bush, where leopards are also more likely to be seen. Birds of prey can be seen around the cliffs, as well as lots of baboons. A herd of hippos lives on the northern shore of the lake. Lake Nakuru is set in a very beautiful landscape, surrounded by woods, meadows, and rocky hills. Lake Nakuru is located about 150km from Nairobi.

• Day 4 : Nakuru - Amboseli

  Early in the morning we leave Lake Nakuru, to go to the Amboseli Park, stop for lunch or directly to the camp. Game drive as soon as you enter the park to admire the animals: lions, gazelles, giraffes, herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas. Arrive at the camp located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, an inactive volcano 5,895 meters high, the highest peak in Africa, its peaks, Kibo and Mawenzi, are always covered with snow. We go to Lake Amboseli where you can see hippos and other animals until sunset. After dinner you can admire the welcome show of a MAASAI representative in front of the bonfire. Overnight.

• Day 5 : Tsavo West

  Wake up early in the morning, breakfast and departure to go to Tsavo West. Game drive on our way to the park. Stop at Shetani Lava Flow, an 8km long, 1.5km wide and 5m deep lava flow. We continue the game drive, to arrive at Mzima Spring. Where we go down and walk to the springs. The pure Mzima Spring water emerges at a constant daily rate of over 50 million gallons (190 million liters), the clarity of the waters in Mzima Springs is due to the fact that it is underground spring water that seeps through the volcanic rock of the local Chyulu Hills. In the crystal clear waters, you can admire hippos and crocodiles. Arrival at the Lodge around h. 12:30, lunch, and rest. In the puddle in front of the lodge, you can see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and other animals coming to drink. Tsavo West is the place where, at the beginning of the last century, the legend of the man-eating lions begins, they made the film 鈥淪pirits in the Darkness鈥�, they were the famous lions who did not want the construction of the railway that connects the south coast of Kenya with Uganda. In Tsavo West there are different landscapes: forests, mountains, lakes, and vast plains. There are all animals, lions, leopards, elephants, gazelles, impalas, cheetahs, giraffes. Allot Tsavo West, with luck, it is possible to see the black rhino. After the restful departure for the game drive at the base of the Ngulia hills. In the central area of the park, there is a fenced area where there are black rhinos to better protect them and where it is hoped they can rebuild a larger community. Return to the lodge at sunset. Dinner and overnight. For the lucky ones, after dinner, sighting of the leopard that goes up to eat.

• Day 6 : Tsavo East Park

  Wake up around h. 05:30, breakfast, and departure at 06:30. Photo safari as we head towards the park exit, to continue on the road that connects Nairobi to Mombasa, towards Tsavo East Park. Once inside, the GAME DRIVE begins to see as many animals as possible, we go towards Mudanda Rock. In the park you can meet: lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, dik-dik, antelopes, waterbugs, cheetahs, leopards, crocodiles, hippos on the Galana river, and other animals of the savannah. At 13.00 then we arrive at the lodge or tented camp, lunch, and rest. Relax to see the animals drinking at the nearby waterhole. We leave for the GAME DRIVE at 3:30 pm until sunset, return to the lodge, dinner from 7:00 pm and overnight

• Day 7 : Departure

  Wake up, breakfast, and departure for the last GAME DRIVE, then we leave the park to arrive at the coast, Watamu, at your resort.
