This 6-day safari offers a front-row seat to the birthing season and predator action that follows—cheetahs, lions, and hyenas are never far behind. Ideal for wildlife photographers, conservation lovers, and adventure seekers, this journey also includes Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater for a well-rounded experience.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Arusha

  Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and overnight as you prepare for your migration adventure.

• Day 2 : Arusha – Tarangire National Park

  After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for massive elephant herds and giant baobabs. Enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River with chances to spot lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and more. Overnight in a lodge/camp near the park.

• Day 3 : Tarangire – Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)

  Depart for Ndutu, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem where the Great Migration calves from January to March. En route, enjoy wildlife sightings and a picnic lunch. Arrive in Ndutu for a sunset game drive and overnight at a tented camp close to the herds.

• Day 4 : Full-Day Game Drive – Ndutu Calving Season

  Spend the day exploring Ndutu's short-grass plains, where wildebeest mothers are giving birth and predators are on the move. With luck, you’ll witness a live calving or a predator-prey encounter. Stop for lunch in the bush and enjoy an evening at camp with wildlife sounds under the stars.

• Day 5 : Ndutu – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  After a final morning drive in Ndutu, travel to Ngorongoro, with optional stops at a Maasai village or Olduvai Gorge (archaeological site). Arrive at a lodge on the crater rim with panoramic views. Dinner and overnight in Ngorongoro.

• Day 6 : Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Arusha

  Descend 600m into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Expect sightings of lions, elephants, black rhinos, buffalo, zebras, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch and later return to Arusha for overnight.
