  I am an ardent traveller and thus I planned to visit WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES in Tanzania. On searching the net I selected Open Earth Tours for the Tour Package. The reason being the itinerary, selection of hotels and a very competitive price. The itinerary covered all the major sanctuaries Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The safari vehicle was excellent and the Tour Guide was so well versed with area that he took us to the location where the action was. We could observe Lions chasing buffalo, Cheetah chasing deer, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Girrafe, Zebras and what not ?. The Tour manager was in constant touch with us enquiring about the Tour. The whole tour was excellently planned right from airport pick up till airport drop. Whlie Airport drop the tour manager went out of the way & took me the Mount Kilimanjaro sighting point.   I and a few of my university friends took part in this 7-day tour, and the experience was mind-blowing! Going out on a game drive in the morning, I heard the roar of the lions in the savannah as the sun rose, saw the hunting of cheetahs in the afternoon, and sat by the campfire at night and talked under the sky full of them. Lights on Africa arranged everything so nicely for us that we never felt bored or tired. Especially in the Serengeti, seeing the wildebeest migration in front of the eyes - that roar, that tremor, that race - still rings in the ears. The guide was lively and knew where to go to get the best view. It wasn't just the safari; it was pure adventure, pure fun for us.   My wife and I went on this 8-day trip, and it was one of the best decisions of our lives. Standing next to an elephant in Tarangire, watching a lion together in Serengeti, and having a cup of coffee on the edge of Ngorongoro Crater - it was all so silent, so profound!   Reliable, exciting, just perfect! We visited 4 parks (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Manyara) in 4 days with Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club. I am not particularly an animal fan and I enjoyed it thoroughly, despite the long distances that we covered with the 4wd vehicles. So we travelled as a group of 13 people (3 families with kids age 7-12) and took 2 vehicles for the safari. A huge thank you to Gasper and Denis who were our guides for the 4 days and we learned a lot from them! They are real experts on every aspect of the wildlife, geography, they speak excellent English, are super reliable, patient and have eagle eyes to spot the rarest animals while driving! They had no problem to adjust to the unexpected change in our travel plan on the last day of our trip. They served us a decent lunch every day and we had more than enough cold water in the vehicles.   These six days were an unforgettable experience to soak in the vibrant rhythm of the African Sahara. It started from Arusha, then through Lake Manyara and Karatu to Ndutu, where the movement of thousands of wildebeest and zebras stopped for a moment!
