Everest (8,848 m) but it also offers superb view of the Himalayan range around the Khumbu region such as Mt. Lhotse (8,516m) Mt. Nuptse (7855m), Mt. Pumori (7,161m), Mt. Changaste (7,550m), Mt. Amadablam (6856m), Mt. Thamserku (6,723m) , Mt. Kantega (6979m), Mt. Kusum Khangaru (6,367m), Mt. Kongde (6,011m), Mt. Tawache peak (6367m), Mt. Cholaste (6,335m), Island Peak (6,179m), Khumbila, the god of the Khumbu (5761m) among others. It also provides an opportunity to explore an environment bursting with various species of birds, animals and flora and fauna and visit picturesque villages of Sherpa ethnic community, experience their culture, tradition, colourful festivals and Buddhist monasteries such as the famous Tengboche Monastery.
