The Tour Manager / Station Manager / Local representative will meet you outside the airport. Proceed for dinner and then to the hotel and check-in. Guided tour of St. Petersburg: See the Peter and Paul fortress, the famous dome of St. Isaacs Cathedral and drive past the Palace square with its dominant Alexander Column, the Bronze Horseman – dedicated to the founder of St. Petersburg, Peter the Great and many such interesting sites. Proceed to visit the Hermitage Museum. Later board a train to Helsinki. Tonight enjoy welcome dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight in Helsinki (B, L, D)
Fly to Rovaniemi, the official home town of Santa Clause. Proceed to visit the Santa Claus Village where you have some free time. Later, proceed for a guided tour of Arktikum Museum, a museum and science centre exploring the Arctic region. Tonight you have a chance to experience the phenomena of the midnight sun on your own. Visit the Rauna zoo, the northernmost zoo in the world (May onwards). Next visit Reindeer farm. Next, drive to Voukatti and visit a local Beer Brewery. Enjoy Beer tasting and tour of the Brewery. Tonight enjoy a local dinner and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Voukatti (SB, L, LD)
Check out and proceed to the snow tunnel and enjoy the famous Husky ride in the summertime. Next, drive to Kuopio and visit the Puijon tower. Today enjoy a local lunch. Drive to Porvoo. A medieval town in Finland. Spend some free time. Next, proceed for a guided city tour of Helsinki: See the Senate Square, the Lutheran Tempelliauki Church, the Sibelius monument, the Presidential Palace, Finlandia Hall, Opera House and many more interesting sights. Wander around the idyllic countryside, before embarking on a boat ride through the Aurlandsfjord into the Naeroyfjord, one of the narrowest fjords in Europe, surrounded by mountains of up to 1800 meters.
