Mcleodganj to Triund 2800 mtrs, 9 kms gradual trek. The trek offer panoramic views Bhagsu village, Mcleodganj, Dharamsala valley and distant views of Shivalik hills and plains of Kangra valley. The trek is moderate nature. Triund is a large land of green grass and pasture like. One can see the mighty Dhauladhar ranges just above the eyes. This is the base camp and climatization point for trekkers climbing the Inderahara point in the Mt. Dhauladhar.
After Overnight Jorney arrival at Mcleodganj and representative will pick from Bus stand and drop at the Bhagsu Nag Taxi Stand, and start hiking to Triund top. It is the most popular trek and passes through famous Bhagsu waterfall and Shiva cafe, mixed deodar, oak, and rhododendron woods. It offers panoramic views Bhagsu village, Mcleodganj, Dharamsala valley and distant views of Shivalik hills, Kangra valley and plains of Punjab. Take a short lunch/snack break at maggie point on the way. Triund is located on a ridge, and one can see entire Kangra Valley on one side and the Dhauladhar Mountain Range on the other. Check-in at Karthani camp which is just 600 meters in distance below triund top (Mcleodganj will be the campsite鈥檚 location in case of bad weather or Govt restrictions). We鈥檒l continue our story-swapping session around the campfire (if weather and forest department permit) in the star-studded nighttime, and enjoy dinner. Around 10:00 p.m.-You can retire for the night to your tent
Wake up to a captivating sunrise and step out after breakfast from the camps. Start downhill trek back to McLeod Ganj to end your Trek to Triund experience.
On arrival at Mcleodganj return to Hotel and relax, day free for leisure or you can roam around Bhagsunag water fall or enjoy bathing at Bhagu Kund (pool of Bhagusnag temple)
