  It was magical 8 days for us. Every day is a new park, a new experience. First Tarangire and Manyara, then the vast fields of the Serengeti, the terrible crocodiles of the Grumeti River, and finally the Ngorongoro Crater - every place is etched in memory. I like the guide's patience and care. He not only showed animals but also told stories of every place. We love to take pictures, and we were able to capture many beautiful moments on this trip. ...more

  I am an ardent traveller and thus I planned to visit WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES in Tanzania. On searching the net I selected Open Earth Tours for the Tour Package. The reason being the itinerary, selection of hotels and a very competitive price. The itinerary covered all the major sanctuaries Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The safari vehicle was excellent and the Tour Guide was so well versed with area that he took us to the location where the action was. We could observe Lions chasing buffalo, Cheetah chasing deer, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Girrafe, Zebras and what not ?. The Tour manager was in constant touch with us enquiring about the Tour. The whole tour was excellently planned right from airport pick up till airport drop. Whlie Airport drop the tour manager went out of the way & took me the Mount Kilimanjaro sighting point.   I went on this trip with my wife and son. It was very well planned for everyone, even if they had small children. In Serengeti, the boy was excited to see the elephant for the first time. In the evening, we shared the experience of the safari at the Shuhudia Adventure Tented Camp. On the last day, when I went down inside the Ngorongoro Crater and saw the black rhino, it seemed that the trip was complete.   This 5-day trip was a dream come true for us. The very first day we went to Tarangire National Park, where we were surrounded by a herd of elephants! Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient, introducing each animal one by one. Serengeti was like a kingdom of heaven! We are stunned to see the migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebra in front of our eyes. At sunrise, I went on a game drive and watched the cheetah hunt - it's like a dream! Finally, entering the Ngorongoro Crater felt like entering an ancient world. There we saw lions, hippos, and even a rare black rhino. All the lodges were comfortable, the food was excellent, and the trip to Maasai Village was unparalleled. ...more

  I was alone, a little worried about such a long trip, but Hallmark Travel Planners managed everything so perfectly that the whole 7 days passed in the blink of an eye. From Victoria Falls to Masai Mara, Serengeti, then Ngorongoro Crater - every place is a different story! Richard was my guide in Kenya - he's not just a guide; he knows the jungle.   I participated in this group-scheduled tour in March, and I must say - it was the best 4 days of my life! The vast sea of grass of Serengeti and elephants, giraffes, and lions roaming in it - everything is like a dream. The view of Ngorongoro Crater is a living painting. Guide Frank was excellent, patiently answering every question and explaining the behavior of the animals. Friendships developed between the passengers, and the journey was orderly.
