Your adventure begins in Nairobi, Kenya鈥檚 bustling capital, where you鈥檒l spend your first night relaxing and adjusting to the new surroundings. The next day, you鈥檒l head out on a scenic drive to Tsavo West National Park, known for its dramatic landscapes, black lava fields, and the crystal-clear Mzima Springs鈥攈ome to hippos and crocodiles. Spend two days exploring this diverse region with daily game drives and optional nature walks, staying in comfortable mid-range lodges like Ngulia Safari Lodge or Severin Safari Camp.
From there, the journey continues eastward to the vast plains of Tsavo East National Park, where you鈥檒l enjoy thrilling game drives in search of red elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Visit highlights such as Aruba Dam, Lugard Falls, and the Galana River. Accommodation throughout the tour is in well-rated mid-range lodges and tented camps that offer ensuite facilities, hot showers, mosquito nets, and sweeping views of the African wilderness. Transport is provided in a 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, perfect for photography and wildlife viewing.
On Day 7, return to Nairobi either by road or opt for a scenic upgrade via the Madaraka Express train from Voi. The final night in Nairobi offers a chance to relax or explore the city before your departure the next day. The package includes 7 nights of accommodation, all park fees, safari transport, daily game drives, airport transfers, a Maasai village visit, and all meals while on safari. It excludes international flights, visa fees, travel insurance, optional Nairobi excursions, drinks, and personal expenses. You can apply for a Kenyan eVisa online and find direct or one-stop flights from your destination. Yellow fever vaccination is recommended, and USD is widely accepted in Kenya.

Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi 鈥 Welcome to Kenya!

    Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi, you will be warmly welcomed our local safari representative or driver-guide. After a brief introduction and assistance with your luggage, you鈥檒l be transferred in a private vehicle to your hotel in the city.

  • Day 2 : Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park 鈥 Into the Wild

You鈥檒l meet your professional English-speaking driver-guide, who will accompany you throughout the journey. Depart Nairobi by road in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof鈥攑erfect for game viewing and photography. The drive to Tsavo West National Park takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, covering a scenic stretch of Kenya鈥檚 countryside. Along the way, enjoy views of local villages, open landscapes and perhaps spot wildlife near the park鈥檚 outskirts.
    Upon arrival at the Tsavo West gate, you鈥檒l begin your first short game drive en route to your lodge.     Later in the day, set off on your first official afternoon game drive in Tsavo West National Park. Early morning is one of the best times to see wildlife as animals are most active before the heat of the day. As you traverse the park鈥檚 rugged terrain, keep your eyes peeled for elephants, lions, buffalos, elands, zebras and a variety of bird species. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive leopard lounging on a tree branch or a pack of hyenas on the move.

The area is steeped in local legend鈥斺淪hetani鈥 means "devil" in Kiswahili鈥攁nd offers stunning photo opportunities with its surreal landscape. On your way back, keep your binoculars ready for birds of prey like martial eagles and vultures soaring overhead.
    As the sun begins to set, head out for another evening game drive, when many animals start to emerge from the shade. With the changing light, this is also the perfect time for dramatic photography. Return to your lodge at dusk, where a warm dinner awaits. Spend the evening unwinding under the starry sky, listening to the distant calls of nocturnal animals echoing through the savannah.

  • Day 4 : Tsavo West to Tsavo East 鈥 A Journey Across the Wild Frontier

    After an early breakfast at your lodge, it鈥檚 time to check out and begin your scenic journey from Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park. The drive between the parks takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on wildlife sightings along the way. As you exit Tsavo West, enjoy a final game drive, soaking in the last views of its dramatic landscapes, volcanic cones, and lush springs.
    Upon reaching the entrance of Tsavo East, the terrain shifts noticeably鈥攈ere, vast open plains stretch as far as the eye can see, broken by acacia trees, dry riverbeds, and iconic red soil. Known for its 鈥淩ed Elephants鈥, Tsavo East is home to one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa, many of which love to dust themselves in the park鈥檚 rich, rust-colored earth.

    After breakfast at your Nairobi hotel, enjoy a relaxed morning depending on your flight schedule. If time allows, you may opt for a short city tour or visit local attractions such as the Giraffe Centre, Nairobi National Museum, or a stroll through the Maasai Market for some last-minute souvenir shopping. These activities can be arranged in advance or on the spot (subject to time and availability).
    Later, your driver-guide will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) for your departure flight back to India.
