  Best 5 Days of My Life – Thank You, Trip Genius! Just got back from a 5-day group safari with Trip Genius Advisory Tours and Safaris, and honestly — it was everything I hoped for and more! We explored the incredible Maasai Mara, where we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, and even a leopard! Every game drive was thrilling, and our guide made sure we didn’t miss a thing. Then we headed to Lake Naivasha, took a boat ride among hippos, and cycled through Hell’s Gate — such a cool, up-close experience! The group was small and friendly — we felt like one big safari family by the end. The lodges were clean, comfy, and full of character. Everything was taken care of so we could just relax and enjoy.   February 2025 Maasai Mara Group Joining Safari As a traveler from California, I had the pleasure of joining a group safari to the Maasai Mara with Trip Genius Advisory Tours and Safaris in February 2025. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The logistics were seamless, the accommodations comfortable, and the game drives absolutely unforgettable. What truly impressed me was the complimentary visit to a Maasai Village that was added exclusively for our group. It was an enriching cultural experience that added great value to the itinerary.   Bottom line up front: the best trip EVER. That is a bold statement because I have been to over 50 countries (including 8 African countries). The accommodations, the people, the country, our guide and the animals defied all expectations. To start with Kosen (the owner of the tour company) arranged the trip to be exactly what we asked for. No detail was spared. It was our 30th anniversary and there was a special touch at every stop. More importantly, they sponsor schools in the bush to make sure the kids get a chance for education. They have recued young girls and built dormitories so they can get an education and autonomy. Furthermore, they sponsor soccer teams in the slums of Nairobi for impoverished urban kids and create academic support and tutoring programs to help lift them out of poverty.   An enjoyable day trip from Nairobi We took a day trip of Nairobi National Park, Giraffe centre and Karen Blixen museum from Safarilinks. The communication with Douglas was prompt, transparent and professional. Our driver and guide Titus was friendly and knowledgeable. Even though it was raining in the morning and we couldn't see lions because of that, we still saw Rhinos, Hippos, Giraffes, Zebras, Impalas, Buffaloes, Crocodiles, Antelopes and lots of birds in their natural habitat.
