  I had an unforgettable 5-day safari with Trip Genius Advisory Tours and Safaris in April 2025, visiting the breathtaking Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi. I was referred by my friend Beth, and I’m so grateful she did! Everything was perfectly organized – from the warm welcome to the professional guide who made each destination come alive with stories, wildlife insights, and photo stops I’ll treasure forever. The wildlife sightings in Maasai Mara were beyond my expectations, and feeding the giraffes up close was such a joy! I truly appreciate the attention to detail, the comfort, and the passion behind the experience. I can’t wait to book with them again for my next holiday! I’m now planning to return with friends for the Great Migration in 2026, which I’ve been told happens around July to October – and there’s no one I’d trust more to guide us than Trip Genius Advisory Tours and Safaris !   February 2025 Maasai Mara Group Joining Safari As a traveler from California, I had the pleasure of joining a group safari to the Maasai Mara with Trip Genius Advisory Tours and Safaris in February 2025. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The logistics were seamless, the accommodations comfortable, and the game drives absolutely unforgettable.   I was looking online for travel agents based in Nairobi and came across many names and numbers, but most of them were not active. After searching again, I found SOM Travel Solutions at the top of the list — and I’m glad I did! They were wonderful to deal with — soft-spoken, professional, and trustworthy.   Bottom line up front: the best trip EVER. That is a bold statement because I have been to over 50 countries (including 8 African countries). The accommodations, the people, the country, our guide and the animals defied all expectations. To start with Kosen (the owner of the tour company) arranged the trip to be exactly what we asked for. No detail was spared. It was our 30th anniversary and there was a special touch at every stop. More importantly, they sponsor schools in the bush to make sure the kids get a chance for education. They have recued young girls and built dormitories so they can get an education and autonomy. Furthermore, they sponsor soccer teams in the slums of Nairobi for impoverished urban kids and create academic support and tutoring programs to help lift them out of poverty.
